When summer draws to a close, it’s a great time for walking around Bath. On the edge of the Cotswolds and surrounded by some of the South West’s most beautiful countryside, Bath has walking and hiking routes to suit everyone.
If your idea of the perfect walk includes a cosy pub, have a look at this selection of ‘Pub Walks’ in Visit Bath’s blog post – https://visitbath.co.uk/blog/6-of-the-best-pub-walks-near-bath/
All are easily accessible from either 4 St George’s House or 3 Herschel Place (the “Kennet and Avon Canal: Bath to Bathampton” route is particularly convenient from 3 Herschel Place – join the route at Sydney Gardens which is less than 5 minutes walk from the apartment).
Of course, this being the West Country, if you prefer tea and scones to the pub, a suitable tea shop (or tea boat on the Kennet and Avon canal near ‘The George’ at Bathampton!) can be found as an alternative to the pub on the suggested routes!
