Entrance to Property

  • The front door is 105cm wide
  • The front door is accessible from the car parking area via a ramp, or alternatively by three shallow steps.
  • The entrance can be lit, but this is controlled by a switch within the property. (Note, if you expect to arrive in the dark please let us know and we will arrange for the light to be on).

Halls, Stairs, Landings, Passageways

  • There are no stairs within the property – all rooms are on the same level.
  • The kitchen/lounge area and the hall have hard flooring (wood laminate in the lounge and hall, ceramic tiles in the kitchen area)
  • Access from the kitchen/lounge area to the hall is via a doorway 82cm wide.

Sitting Room/Lounge

  • The lounge is accessed directly from the front door
  • The lounge area is relatively spacious, with a leather sofa (2-seater) and 2 leather armchairs
  • There is a coffee table with a rug under in front of the sofas that can be moved to create more space if required.
  • There is a sash window with wooden venetian style blind for privacy.
  • There are curtains for night time use.

Dining Room

  • There is no separate dining room – an area of the kitchen is provisioned for dining.
  • This area is equipped with a 1m round glass-topped table and 4 upright chairs.
  • The flooring in this area consists of ceramic tiles.

Kitchen

  • The kitchen is located within the same room as the lounge, and so is directly accessed from the front door.
  • The kitchen consists of a range of granite-topped cupboards with some wall hung cupboards.
  • There is a fridge/freezer within a cupboard. The fridge is mounted above the freezer.
  • The electric oven is located below the counter, with a gas hob and extractor hood above.
  • Other built-in appliances are a washer/dryer and full-sized dish washer.
  • The kitchen is floored with ceramic tiles..

Bedrooms and Sleeping Areas

  • The principal bedroom is a spacious room with a 6 foot double bed.
  • The bed can be configured as two 3 foot singles, with a space of about 18 inches between them.
  • The room contains a chest of drawers, dressing table with mirror, a large built-in wardrobe and two bedside tables with reading lights.
  • There is a TV that is readily visible from the bed.
  • The flooring material is a pale short-pile carpet.
  • The window is large and has a translucent roller blind for privacy.
  • There are curtains for night time use.
  • Access from the hall is via a doorway 82cm wide.
  • The second bedroom is a smaller room with a 5 foot double bed.
  • The bed can be configured as two 2 foot 6 singles, with a space of about 18 inches between them.
  • The room contains a chest of drawers, a built-in wardrobe and two bedside tables with reading lights.
  • There is a TV that is readily visible from the bed.
  • The flooring material is a pale short-pile carpet.
  • The window is large and has a translucent roller blind for privacy.
  • There are curtains for night time use.
  • Access from the hall is via a doorway 82cm wide.

Bathrooms, Shower-rooms and Toilets

  • The main bathroom is located off the hall and is readily accessible from the kitchen/lounge
  • The bathroom has a deep bath, with shower over, a toilet and basin.
  • There is storage in the form of a low drawer, beneath the basin and a wall cupboard
  • Flooring consists of ceramic tiles.
  • There are no handles or other aids, although the toilet is close to the bath and basin.
  • 1 non-slip mat is provided.
  • Access to the main bathroom is via a doorway 82cm wide.
  • The en-suite bathroom is accessed from the principal bedroom.
  • The bathroom has an enclosed shower unit that requires a step up.
  • The bathroom also has a toilet and basin.
  • There is storage in the form of a low drawer, beneath the basin and a wall cupboard
  • Flooring consists of ceramic tiles.
  • There are no handles or other aids, although the toilet is close to the basin
  • 1 non-slip mat is provided.
  • The en-suite bathroom is accessible via a doorway 66cm wide.

Garden

  • Immediately in front of the door is a small patio area that is enclosed by a wrought iron fence.
  • This area has a mix of paving (the path to the front door) and gravel.
